About Nala Feminist Collective

Nala Feminist Collective, founded in 2020, is a Pan-African, multigenerational movement advancing women's leadership, rights, and liberation across Africa. Through advocacy, training, and mentorship, Nala empowers young women in politics, peacebuilding, and governance, while connecting them with senior leaders.

Their campaigns, summits, and fellowships have engaged thousands, pushing for gender equity, accountable leadership, and feminist solidarity. Nala's work drives systemic change, amplifying African women's voices and building a future where they lead at all levels.

Design that Serves Purpose

At Nalafem, I used design to serve purpose. My work supported the 4th Nalafem Summit, before, during, and after. Every visual carried a message. Every slide, post, and banner was crafted to reflect the movement.

Design as Quiet Leadership

Behind the scenes, I made sure the message reached the right people, in the right way. Every graphic supported strategy. Every color and font carried intention.

Design that Speaks Clearly

I created slide decks for webinars and summit sessions, clean, clear, and rooted in Nalafem's voice. Each design helped tell a story, teach a lesson, or hold space for bold ideas.

Visual Identity with Heart

From social media graphics to summit banners, I built materials that felt unified and true to Nalafem's mission—Pan-African feminism, youth power, and collective strength.

Supporting the 4th Nalafem Summit

My primary focus was creating comprehensive visual support for the 4th Nalafem Summit. This involved designing materials for every phase of the event—from pre-summit promotional content to live event graphics and post-summit documentation.

Each piece needed to maintain visual consistency while serving different functional purposes, whether it was engaging potential attendees, supporting speakers during presentations, or documenting key moments for future reference.

Strategic Visual Communication

The role required understanding not just design principles, but the deeper mission of the feminist movement. Every design decision—from color choices to typography—needed to reflect the values of Pan-African feminism and collective empowerment.

This experience taught me how to lead through design, not by being seen, but by helping others be heard. It reinforced the power of visual communication in amplifying important social movements and creating spaces for marginalized voices.
